Situated in an elevated position in the spectacular foothills of the Pyrénées and near the Mediterranean, Villa Bel-Horizon offers 360 degrees of unobstructed views, bordered only by the famous Roussillon vineyards, in an area rich on history and culture. A fenced garden of almost 2 acres (7,610 sq. metres) with a 150 metres private driveway off a quiet road secures absolute privacy and plenty of space for outdoor activities away from the crowds. In the local language it is called "paradis privé".

The house, equipped to Scandinavian standard, has 3 bedrooms in two seperate sections (1 double or twin, 1 twin/bunk beds and 1 twin studio with separate entrance - 2 bathrooms, kitchen, large lounge with fireplace and dining area, and direct access to large, spouth facing covered terrace. Sleeps 6 persons. Facilities include satellite-TV (CNN and 16 channels), stereo set, solar heated water. The house is large, originally with 5 bedrooms, but one section is currently closed and not open for rentals.

Outdoor there are 3 terraces facing south, east and west, unobstructed mountain views, swimming pool (7x3 m), a large lawn of almost one acre, fully fenced garden, as well as secure outdoor parking for several cars.

A car is recommended for sightseeing, as there are many attractions in the area, both of historical interest and of natural beauty. If you are arriving by air it is advisable to book a rental car well in advance.
