Dear Anette and Erik
Looking at the village from above from our small balcony we enjoy the views from the "Village Catalan".
We hear the humming of life and joy and feel like eagles in their nest.
Thank you for a lovely stay. We wish you the best of luck with your plans.
Love Phyl and Jørgen
Best greetings

"Mountains, grottos, monasteries, hikings, water falls, cold sources, ham, cheese, baguettes, breadcrumbs, beers, wine from the can, parties, market, shopping(a lot),- That’s France. A wonderful, active holiday - thank you for your welcome and your help.

"Down in the grottoes, up to the monastery, into town to a great time and fireworks, and back to "Village Catalan" to beautiful mountains and peaceful atmosphere - the balsam for the spirits.
Greetings Ole Nyvang + Julie"

July 1997
We would like to thank Erik, Anette and Martin for giving us such a wonderful holiday. We had not planned a holiday for 1997 so to find such a remarkable place available was wonderful.
The accomodation in Les Genets was so comfortable and spacious for the family we immediately felt very much at home. To be able to enjoy the wonderful views from the terrace and each of the windows was fantastic. There was such a sense of peace. Our stay was enhanced by the friendliness and companionship of Martin. He could not have been more helpful in finding us places to visit and suggestions for entertainment. It was unfortunate for us that Erik and Anette were away for the weeks of our holiday but the personal greetings on our first night will always be remembered. They were very much welcomed after such a long drive from England. It helped us to settle very quickly into our holiday.
The town of Vernet les Bains is a picture in itself and we never tired of soaking up the wonderful atmosphere in the 2 weeks we stayed. I have to say no visit would be complete without the visits to Les Temps de Cerise for pizza or pasta and the welcome of Sebastian.
I would like to wisk Erik and Anette every success in the project at Le Village Catalan There is a great deal of potential for the centre to provide a wonderful holiday base for many years to come. There was certainly something to catch the imagination of all of our family. We felt fortunate to see the Village in it’s first year of operation with them. I would like to think that we will return for another visit and see the ideas that are being talked about now coming into fruition.
